Winflash is the easiest method to update the ASUS BIOS in Windows. If your system doesn't have Winflash you'll need to download and install it from the Asus website first. If your system has Winflash, please proceed to Step 2.
Step1: How to download and install Winflash?
- Input your Notebook or Motherboard model in the search bar. If you don't know the model, please refer to the FAQ.
- Click Support and select Driver & Tools
- Select the proper WIndows version. If you don't know the Windows version, please refer to the FAQ.
- Extend BIOS-Utilities and download the latest version of Winflash.
- Extend BIOS and download the latest version of BIOS.
Step 2: How to use Winflash to update the BIOS?
- Run Winflash to update the BIOS version. If you don't find Winflash in the start menus, you can input the keyword Winflash in the search bar.
- Select the BIOS you downloaded previously.
- Winflash will check the compatibility between the BIOS and the system.
- Click Flash to update the BIOS.
- Click Exit to shut down the system.
Check the BIOS version is updated successfully
